Another great Tech Tool I discovered is Skype! I would have never thought I would be talking about using skype as a resource for teachers to use in their classroom! Anyways, Skype is an awesome resource to use in the classroom! First, its FREE and is available on virtually any network. skyoe in the classroom can be used in a lot more ways then one.. Skype in the classroom can be used go on virtual field trips across the globe! The field trips are posted on the website. They list the age group the virtual field trip is suitable for, the country the trip will be in , the language spoken, the date and time the field trip will take place, and how many classrooms are currently signed up! This site also allows your classroom to interact with guest speakers! You can either tune in to view a guest speaker or look them up! As a teacher you can also become a guest speaker though skype. You can also play "mystery skype". This is a cool future on the site that lets you and your classroom randomly chat with other classrooms weather it be next door or across the world! Using this in my own classroom when I become a teacher in the future would definitely be a must. I would always try to find things relating to lesson plans. Skype in the classroom is an awesome tech tool and I would recommend it to any teacher looking for something new and different to try out in their classroom. Hello! I have come across an awesome resource for teachers called BrainPOP. It was founded in 1999 and is currently being used in 20% of schools nation-wide! This site can be used both on a desktop and can be downloaded as an app for FREE-everyone's favorite word! BrainPOP engages students using interactive quizzes, learning games, animated movies, concept mapping and much more. This site is used in math, science, social studies, english, arts and music, health, and engineering and tech. BrainPOP is great for traditional and blended learning styles and can be tweaked to fit a students specific way of learning. BrainPOP is also available in major foreign languages including both American and British English, Spanish, French, and Mandarin. BrainPOP is also home to GameUp. GameUp offers equational games specially for the classroom. This site can also be used by teachers to create specific lesson plans and customize their lesson plans as well as provide video tutorials, graphic organizers and curriculum calendar. Padlet is another awesome site that can be used from virtually any device-yes there's an app for that!
This site can be used by teachers, businesses, elementary school students, college students.....anyone! What's so awesome about this particular site? Well, Padlet can be used to collaborate ideas with strangers, teachers or peers. This site could even be used to complete homework assignments or create story lines or story boards. Another neat feature Padlet offers is the ability to upload files up to 250MB in size! Also, you can even compromise who can view your Padlet and once a student graduates you are able to revoke their access while still being able to view their information! In my own classroom, I would definitely use this for group projects or for communicating with my students. You give it a try! https://padlet.com/

GoNoodle is an awesome resource! Not only is it educational and fun for students and teachers but its also easy to navigate and offers a free basic membership for both parents, kids, and educators! As of January 2016 GoNoodle is used in 68,000 schools, by 480,000 teachers, and 10 million students. GoNoodle is used for "brain breaks" in the classroom. Sometimes this can mean letting energy out (good or bad) and helps students to focus on the task at hand after watching. GoNoodle can also be used to upload YouTube videos and cuts the ads out for you. In my classroom this would be great because its not only fun for students but also fun for teachers as well. I would typically use it in between class periods to transition into the next subject smoothly or recap what my students just learned. Below, I have posted a video directly from the website. Every morning routine for a teacher is different. One great way to start your day in the class room is to give "daily starters" like math problems, language arts prompts and history fact questions! The link listed below is a website that lets you select any grade from kindergarten up to 8th grade to generate the appropriate list of questions. This technology will be very easy to understand in my classroom because the website is so easy to follow and I think my students would find the activities fun to do. Using this in my future class room will make my morning a little bit easier because as the students are working on their daily starters it will give me time to get ready for the rest of the day with my students! This tech tool is great not only because it will be fun for my students but it will also make my morning routine a little less stressful!

Tech Tool Kit #1
There are a million and one ways to take advantage of the different uses of technology in classrooms. When I become a teacher and am able to teach my own class I hope to take advantage of a resource called Lesson cast. This resource is used to create lesson plan videos for other teachers in as little as 2 minutes and 30 seconds. The site is also a great place for teachers from all around the world to interact and share diverse ideas as well as getting support from other teachers. In my classroom I hope to use this tool to help me create lesson plans, communicate with a wide verity of teachers on how they teach specific topics and improve my teaching ability over all. As a teacher it will help tremendously not only because it is a resource specifically for teachers but also because its goal is to help guide and support you along your journey as a teacher. In the classroom it will make for better lesson plans as well as a more broad spectrum of approaches of learning.
