Hello! I have come across an awesome resource for teachers called BrainPOP. It was founded in 1999 and is currently being used in 20% of schools nation-wide! This site can be used both on a desktop and can be downloaded as an app for FREE-everyone's favorite word! BrainPOP engages students using interactive quizzes, learning games, animated movies, concept mapping and much more. This site is used in math, science, social studies, english, arts and music, health, and engineering and tech. BrainPOP is great for traditional and blended learning styles and can be tweaked to fit a students specific way of learning. BrainPOP is also available in major foreign languages including both American and British English, Spanish, French, and Mandarin. BrainPOP is also home to GameUp. GameUp offers equational games specially for the classroom. This site can also be used by teachers to create specific lesson plans and customize their lesson plans as well as provide video tutorials, graphic organizers and curriculum calendar.
